FOONA · Field evidence
The place is the question.
A map or model can suggest where to look. People nearby can tell us what is there now. These are three different field jobs we have run, with the evidence and its limits kept visible.
Bring us a place question01 / Outlet coverage · October 2026
Which outlets are actually there?
FOONA's public field-map projection showed 79 approved outlet submission pins captured between 14 and 16 October across three South African areas. The figures below were checked on 17 October 2026, not updated live on this page.

What happened beyond the headline?
During the Cape Town floods, FOONA's internal programme report recorded 316 reviewed reports from more than 40 contributors across 13 community clusters. The reports covered damaged homes, roads, services and early recovery needs.
Different job, different unit
A reviewed situation report helps a response team see a local condition. It is not an audited count of damaged properties.
Read the flood field report03 / Physical media · March–June 2026
Does the site match the plan?
In Cape Town, we ran paid billboard collection campaigns to check physical sites. In Abidjan, a paid sweep was delivered; our internal field-capability report records 76 distinct billboard sites in that sweep.
What a buyer can specify
Position, sightline, current creative, owner and a timestamped image can be checked against an agreed site list.
The Abidjan count is from an internal delivery report, not a published independent audit. We do not combine billboard records with outlet pins or flood reports into one places total.
A useful next test
Start with the decision, then design the collection.
Choose a bounded area
Tell us which decision needs better local evidence and where.
Agree what counts
Set the attributes, review rules, rights and acceptance threshold first.
Check the disagreement
Compare candidate signals with paid field checks and an independent recheck where needed.
2Klip's local-knowledge game can surface candidate signals. FOONA can collect consented field observations. Neither a game answer nor a photo alone proves independent ground truth.
